We start the day early today as we need to embark on a trip to Havelock Island This. is the one of the largest islands and comprises of a chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman in the Andaman Islands. All the ferries depart between 0630 to 0830 hours, and we need to report at least 45 min earlier to finish screening and embarkation procedures, The trip will take about 1½ hours to and our local representative will meet you at the arrival area in Havelock Island and assist you with you transfers to the Radha Nagar beach. This is one of the most exquisite beaches on the island and famed for its beauty. After lunch we return to Port Blair to enjoy the rest of the evening.
Baratang Island is an Island locate about 110 kms from Port Blair, famous as an eco tourist destination, the surroundings of the Island is covered with Dense Mangrove Creeks and the most visited site is the Limestone Caves. The journey to the caves is half way by small boat through the creek which is an exciting and scenic ride and the remaining half is by trekking, hence not recommended for the elderly. The best part of this tour is on the drive to and fro to Baratang Island where your vehicle crosses a Tribal Reserve area in a convoy system, here if you are lucky one can spot few of these Aboriginals (from the Jarawa Tribe) along the Road. This tribe is native to the Andaman Islands and are thought to have migrated here some 5000 years ago.
