By profession I’m a financial planner and am supported by tackle brands such as – Zenaq, Moutoukenmaru, IMA, Gamaktsu and Bozles. I love offshore casting games, both in Japan and abroad. The main targets are GT, Bluefin tuna, Yellowfin tuna, and Amberjack.
How long have you been fishing? When did you start ?
I’ve been fishing since I was 3 years old. My father was also an angler.
What do you like the best about fishing in the Andaman Islands ?
Among the Andaman Islands, I especially like Little Andaman and the Invisible Bank. I enjoy the natural beauty of these places.
What are your tackle recommendations for large fish in general ?
For GT, we recommend a rod that can withstand PE10 by throwing a big lure.
What is your all-time favorite lure for GT fishing ?
I don’t have a specific lure that’s a favorite choice. However, I prefer to use the Carpenter’s Y series, Seafrog, Moutoukennmaru and hammer head poppers.
What is the most interesting experience you had on a fishing trip ?
GT attacked our casts for 20 minutes non-stop in Andaman Islands. It was chaos!
What would be your message for the young generation of anglers ?
Be responsible anglers. Pursue your dreams and don’t give up on them.
What you enjoyed during your fishing trip and why you are returning with us in the Andaman Islands, would you revisit and how do you rate our service ?
My trips with GFA have been a wonderful experience. After arriving at the airport, thanks to GFA staff, it has been a stress free and relaxing experience. I love to go shopping at the local market and take a walk in the neighborhood. The fishing experience is five star with excellent skippers and crew, food is very hygienic and delicious, Kokari Guest House is clean and comfortable. Fishing with GFA has always been worth my time and money!

What was the biggest fish you caught till date ?
My largest would be Yellowfin Tuna weighing 68 kgs, Bluefin Tuna weighing 70 kgs and GT weighing 45 kgs.
